In 2017 December Govt of India Ministry of Road transports made FASTAG mandatory in all new cars sold. After 2 years of FASTAG becomes mandatory in new car now govt Makes it mandatory in all cars .
As per the information from ministry of road transports , from 1st December 2019 onwards there will be only one line in all toll plazas for cash collection , all the other lines will be dedicated for fastag, so if you are not having fastag in your car you will have to wait in the queue for al long time because in the cash line we will have to give cash then collect ticket and then get the balance back , so for all these process we will have to wait.

Fastag can be bought from Amazon,SBI,ICICI bank,HDFC, Paytm etc.. Cost for a tag is Rs 100, Security deposit will be 250Rs and a balance of 150 will be also there and thus the total cost of purchase is Rs 500. When purchasing the FASTAG we have to upload the RC and other ID details to the site, after verification of details tag will be sent to you.
