Alto Crosses sales of 38 lakhs

Maruti Suzuki Alto Crosses sales of 38 lakhs , Alto is the only car in India that Crosses a sales of 30 lakh and is one among 3 cars in 25 lakh club and all those cars are from Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Alto launched in 2000 and in 2005 it became the largest selling car in India beating Maruti’s own Maruti 800. Till then from 1983 Maruti 800 was the largest selling car in India .

In 2008 Maruti Suzuki Alto Crossed the saheed milestone of 10 lakh cars. Maruti Alto replaced the entry level instead of Maruti 800 and then the sales of Maruti 800 started to decline , also at the same time in 2010,Maruti launched Alto with 1000 cc engine and named it Alto K10.

Then in 2012 maruti launched the second generation of Alto called Alto800 with a new design which is more compact and in the same year sales of Alto Crossed 20 lakhs.

In 2014 Maruti launched the second generation of Alto K10 which is also a compact model,

In 2016 there were small cosmetic changes came in Alto800 and in the same year sales of Alto Crossed 30 lakhs and it was the first and only car to reach sales of more than 30 lakhs. In 2019 Maruti lauched the BSVI compliant model of Alto800.
